Jelly Roll/Split Blade Dresden-

This class will be detailing how to make a “Split-Blade” Dresden. Students can choose from two different designs which are created by using precut 2 1/2” strips  also known as “Jelly Rolls.”  Anelie will teach the Modern way to piece this Dresden block using her stich-n-flip technique featured in her book. She will also demonstrate how to make the unique pieced border which requires no binding!

Dresden Small and Simple Stitch-n-Flip Technique Class            

 Students can choose a small project such as a wall hanging or table runner that is quick to complete to learn this new piecing technique. Anelie will demonstrate 4 different blade designs and the Modern way to piece these Dresden blocks using her stitch-n-flip technique featured in her book.

Thoroughly Modern Dresden                                

Class choose any quilt from my book “Thoroughly Modern Dresden.”    Students can then doe a large quilt or a smaller project and pick a design that is within their abilities. Class will cover understanding the 4 sizes of blocks, 5 different Blade top designs, The Modern stitch-n-flip technique and a variety of border options.
